Hi, I’m Kat!
I’m a twenty-something year old girl with a camera based on the beautiful, sunny Gulf Coast. For the last ten years, I've explored the adventures life has to offer with my husband, Forrest. We have two furry four-legged kids-- a Malinois named Nova, and a black cat, Bean.
On a family trip to Alaska, and behind the screen of a Sony Cybershot my parents bought me, the spark that was my interest in photography was ignited. It was a hobby I developed as a kid that I didn't consider as a career until college. I finally upgraded to a professional camera, started a little side hustle and here we are nine years later travelling to some of the coolest places meeting some of the most beautiful people.
My favorite color is lavender, I'm a hopeless romantic, daddy-daughter dances have me misty eyed, I love the ambiance of a local coffee shop, and I casually use more dad jokes than I should. Being entrusted with capturing these types of memories is an absolute honor. So now that you know more about me, let's get together and take some photos!

What's it like to work with me?
Of course I'd like you to know that I'm a fun outgoing person, and that I try to make each session a comfortable and enjoyable experience, but you wont truly believe that until we have the opportunity to work together!
I like to incorporate a decent balance of prompts and poses during my sessions to capture authenticity, because an entire album of posey posey photos is not my thing. I like to say that I'm the perfect balance of a traditional photographer with a hint of documentary style. We'll walk, twirl, dance and dip so that your album reflects the natural movement and attributes of your life or love story.
And if you're the "we don't know how to pose" type, forget that- I am your guide! As part of my past job working with an editorial magazine, I had the opportunity of leading modelling classes, so not only will I help pose you, but I will also help you understand the dynamics of the poses we incorporate so that you can begin to feel more comfortable and confident in front of the camera! And if that doesn't convince you, my "oh my gosh, beautiful" and "ah perfect!" exclamations as we shoot will.

To provide you with the best service, I want you to feel confident in me and the services I provide. Every photographer has their style, and I consider mine to be more bright, clean, organic and timeless with a hint of warmth- not to mention the incorporation of both traditional posing and documentary portraiture. If that’s what you’re looking for in your album then I think we would be a great fit together!
Investment
One of the most important questions:
How much does it cost?
I refer to my packages as Investments because that’s exactly what photographs are, an investment. A photograph is a moment captured in time that will last for ages- priceless if you ask me!
Portrait Session
My portrait sessions begin at $250 and vary based on what you’d like included in your experience. I’m happy to discuss customizing your package with added time and locations so that we can get the most out of our time together! All sessions require a non refundable $50 booking fee that will count towards your overall total. The remaining balance is not due until at least 24 hours before your session date.
Wedding Photography
My wedding packages are pretty simple and self-explanatory. Download the pricing guide below, but be sure to check my availability before you fall in love with me!
My most popular package is roughly $3,100 [8hr, 2nd photographer, complimentary portrait session, online gallery & keepsake USB] paid in three installments.

First thing's first, I need to make sure I'm available! When you decide that you’d like to work with me, fill out a contact form under the service tab of choice here on my site to get started. Once I receive your message I'll be in touch and we'll go from there. After you're booked on the calendar, I am officially yours to help you prepare as you need whether it's outfit coordination for your portrait session or vendor recommendations for your wedding!
Timelines
Whether it's a portrait session or wedding day- I will help you curate the perfect timeline! For my wedding clients, I will send out a questionnaire a few months before the wedding where you will be able to tell me exactly what you want photographed. Are you doing a first look? Will there be a special send-off at the end of the night? Using my experience in wedding photography, all of these questions will help me create a suggested timeline based on the amount of coverage included in the package you've chosen. We can schedule a final consultation to discuss the day and timeline in depth, make any adjustments necessary, and send it out to any vendor that might need it!
Album
After we do all the fun stuff, this is where the real work begins. I begin sifting through hundreds, sometimes thousands of photos from your session or event, choosing the best of the best in a process called “culling”. I’ll tediously go through each individual image correcting the lighting, coloration, cropping and other minor appearance enhancements like blemish removal, skin softening, teeth whitening and eye brightening. Images are available for download digitally via a complimentary online gallery and a keepsake USB flash drive will be mailed to you.
Portrait session albums are delivered no more than two weeks after your session date and wedding albums are delivered in roughly six to eight weeks after the event date.
Images and albums are available for digital download and print through your online gallery!
