One of the most important questions: How much does it cost? My wedding packages are pretty simple and self-explanatory. All packages and additional add on fees are made clear on my pricing guide so you don’t have to worry about getting hit with hidden fees on the back end. The only fee I do not have plainly listed is my travel fee because this is dependent upon the location if it is not directly within my service area of Mobile, AL. I’m more than happy to provide you with a quote and breakdown so you can see exactly what you’re paying for! Regarding deposits and payments, I have implemented a three payment installment plan to keep you on track with payments. Once we have finalized your package and you have approved the final quote of services I will require a non-refundable retainer fee that is one-third of your overall total. The second installment, or the second one-third portion of your overall total I refer to as the mid-installment, is due halfway between your booking date and event date. This date will be determined at the time of booking. The final installment which is the remaining balance of your overall total is due by the day of your event before services are rendered. Once you’ve officially booked your event with me by signing contracts and paying your first installment I will email you a copy of the installment amounts, due dates, event information on your wedding detail form and the contract you sign so that you will have the information and can access it at any time. Approximately 7-10 days before your mid-installment is due and again before your final installment is due, I will email you a reminder of the exact amount and due date just to make sure you’re ready to make your payment.
Cash, check and card (electronic invoice) are all accepted.

By filling out the wedding inquiry form here on my site, I can first determine if I’m available for your event date then we’ll be able to establish a relationship and we can further discuss your ideas and expectations. For wedding photography I prefer to meet in person so we can sit and discuss your event details more in depth because there is so much to go over! We’ll be able to discuss your expectations, inspiration photos and how I can service you from your engagement session and bridals to photo and video coverage of the big day. Consultations can take place at a local coffee shop or at my studio office in Mobile. With a full bathroom, kitchen area, makeup counter and private building, I do rent out my studio space as a ‘getting ready’ location for your bridal party if needed so swing by for our consult to check it out! Your hair stylist and makeup artist team are welcome to set up and conduct services simultaneously in the spacious vanity area while the refrigerator keeps your mimosas chilled. We can discuss more when we get together. And just so you know, pre-visits and coffee consults are on the house!
Sessions & The Big Day:
When deciding the vibe and location of your session, if you choose to add on a portrait session for Bridals or engagements, I will encourage you to explore your outfit choices and props you want to include before hand. If you arrive to your session and decide you don’t like what you picked out to wear that morning you will be able to tell you aren’t at your most confident in the photos. Once you book with me, I am at your beckoned call. If you need color ideas for your outfits or more specifically flattering outfit options I can give you a few references- and you can trust me, I spent time working with a fashion magazine and I was a boutique stylist with modern clothing as well as a wedding dress specialist for a national brand. I’ll arrive 20-30 minutes before your session to do any necessary lighting and equipment tests and make sure our area is clear for us while we shoot. Once your session begins we’ll cover all of my go-to poses and we can even recreate some you might have saved on your Pinterest board! If you don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera, fear not, for I have many fun prompts to capture those blissful candid shots and I can even assist with posing…remember when I said I worked for a magazine? Those shoots were all about flattering posing. And not to mention I’ve been doing this for more than 8 years, I’m an awesome hype team. At the end of your session, after we’ve taken a billion photos, I’ll ask if you have any other ideas before packing up. I’ll even show you a photo or two if you ask! Otherwise I like to wait and send you some sneak peeks so you can see what I see when I’m taking your photos because for the most part, I can see exactly how they’re going to look with the lighting and color adjustments I do in the after-processing.
Leading up to your wedding, I will likely as if you’ll be having a rehearsal and if I may attend. This will provide me the opportunity to meet your bridal party to introduce myself and give few instructions such as remembering to smile during the ceremony, see how the structure of your event is going to go because every wedding is different and I want to make sure I’m in the right place at the right moment, and attending the rehearsal I will also have the opportunity to see the location and decide what equipment I may or may not need so I can be more prepared the day of especially if I’m new to the location. More often than not, I have been able to provide a bit of insight during the rehearsal to advise what will look best in your photos so look at it like you’re getting a little bit of day-of coordinating for free! The day of your event I will arrive roughly 30 minutes prior to our scheduled service start time, based on the coverage package you’ve selected, to conduct lighting and equipment tests so that will not run into the time dedicated to capturing each and every special moment. Depending on your day-of agenda I typically play the day by ear and use my time wisely when photographing the details like rings, invitations and décor and photographing any getting ready photos if you’ve selected a package that covers your getting ready time. We’ll discuss when you’d like to do bridal party photos, if you opt for any first-look photos and I will help make sure everything runs smoothly leading up to the actual ceremony. After capturing the moment you and your significant other finally tie the knot, I’ll follow you to the reception and continue photographing those reception traditions like cutting the cake and tossing the bouquet. Before your package coverage ends I’ll check in with you to see if there is any last minute things I can photograph for you then I’ll pack up and head home to begin the lengthy editing process.
After your event, I’m usually so excited to see how the photos turned out on a larger screen so I will likely have your photos imported into my software almost immediately. After allowing the photos time to download and establishing your own personal file on my computer I begin the process called ‘culling’. I go through each individual image and decide if it’s worthy to be added into the finished album or not. Since I don’t limit my albums to any image number, I basically just get rid of the blinking, mid-movement, and awkward face photos and give you everything else! All of my wedding packages include your full high-resolution album on a USB flash drive that I will mail to you once the editing has been completed, roughly 4-6 weeks after your event date. Edited sneak peeks are a courtesy that I provide within the week after your event. Once you receive your images, you are welcome to share them to friends and family in any format whether you use these photos as your Christmas card or share them on social media- just be sure to tag me so I can see everyone telling you how amazing you look!
